1. Product Introduction

This horizontal spiral discharge decanter centrifuge runs continuously, specially engineered for desulfurization sludge solid-liquid separation.
During operation, the bowl and conveyor rotate coaxially at high speed with a preset speed difference. Raw sludge is delivered via feeding pipeline into the inner cavity of spiral conveyor, then accelerated and fed into the rotating bowl. Driven by powerful centrifugal force, solid particles with higher density adhere to the bowl inner wall and form sediment layer. The spiral conveyor conveys settled solids toward the conical bowl end for slag discharging. Low-density liquid gathers into inner liquid ring and flows out steadily from the liquid overflow outlet.
The unit realizes uninterrupted feeding, separating, rinsing and discharging under full-speed running state. Featuring compact layout, steady running performance, wide application compatibility and large handling volume, the equipment also boasts easy daily upkeep. It fits suspension liquid separation with particle size over 0.005mm and solid concentration between 2% to 40%, extensively applied in chemical, light industry, pharmaceutical, food processing, environmental protection and other fields.
 
 

2. Operational Principle

Desulfurization sludge is pumped into the centrifuge through feeding port. High-speed bowl rotation generates strong centrifugal force, pushing heavy solid impurities toward bowl wall while liquid medium concentrates at the central area.
Thanks to the rotational speed gap between spiral rotor and bowl, accumulated solids are progressively transported to the small-diameter bowl end and expelled from slag outlet. Clarified liquid flows over the overflow opening at the large bowl end and gets drained out separately.
